MONC Exhibition

We have installed an exhibition of work by children from schools in Portsmouth, who took part in this year’s French themed MONC (Mysteries of Our Neighbour’s Culture) project, co-ordinated by Portsmouth City Council.

Children from St Judes, St Swithuns, Flying Bull, Somers Park , Court Lane, Stamshaw, Corpus Christi and Newbridge created  poetry, photography, handmade boardgames and childrens’ guides to Portsmouth, working with artists Lynn Weddle, Vicky Chiswell, Wendy Middleditch, Letty Clarke, Abi Gilchrist and Tonges&Grooves.

The three winning schools – St Judes, St Swithuns and Flying Bull Primary have all won exchange trips to Caen, where they will meet up with their exchange schools.

The exhibition will be up until the end of June at The Lighthouse.
